Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AntiDeepfake AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, web app, browser extension, and API (collectively, the “Service”). We keep the policy plain-language because media authenticity work often involves sensitive files and serious decisions.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account data: email address and a securely hashed password.
  • Uploaded media: images and videos you submit for analysis.
  • Scan results: detection scores and reports generated from your uploads.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and basic usage logs.
  • Payment data: processed entirely by Digistore24; we do not store your card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide deepfake detection and generate evidence reports.
  • To authenticate your account and issue your API key.
  • To maintain scan history and improve the Service.
  • To provide customer support and send essential account notices.

3. Handling of Uploaded Media

Uploaded files are processed solely to perform detection, generate scan results, and create evidence reports. We do not sell your media. If you self-host the engine using our Docker setup, your media remains inside your own infrastructure.

4. Data Retention

You may request deletion of your account, uploads, and scan history at any time by contacting support. We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the Service or comply with legal obligations.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Digistore24 as our payment processor and authorized reseller. Their handling of your payment information is governed by their own privacy policy.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed, transport is encrypted via HTTPS, and access to scan data is restricted to your authenticated account. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we apply industry-standard safeguards.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
